What it is
Inkwell is a novel and manuscript writing app for Mac, iPhone, iPad, and Windows. It's early days, and it's in active development.
A tree, not a pile of files
Everything in Inkwell is a node, and nodes nest as deep as you need: Novel > Part 1 > Chapter 1 > Scene 1. Any node can carry a status, custom tags, and deadlines, so planning lives right next to the writing.
Characters, places, and notes
Brainstorming sections sit alongside the manuscript. Characters, locations, and notes are references, so you can see everywhere each one is used.
How it's built
Inkwell is a Capacitor app with an Electron build for desktop, plus custom native bridges for platform features like Apple PencilKit.
